Citizen Kane

       Citizen Kane is a movie about a dead mans rise to success and his famous last words "rose bud". When people see a old black and white movie they ether say,"Ew, that was so boring." or they say," That was the best movie I have ever seen!" I kind of had to watch this movie so I tried to give it a chance. I think its hard for some people to watch black and white movies because sometimes its hard to understand whats going on and half the time everyone looks the same. Other people think that just because a movie is old that makes it great. I thought that the movie was pretty good. It had an interesting plot and good visual affects for its time but it wasn't  the best movie ever.
      Charles Foster Kane was a very sad man. The only time he was ever really happy was when he was in the snow as a young boy. He spent his whole life trying to be happy but he never got there. No one ever really loved him except for his mother and he got taken away from her. He had everything that he could ever want but he didn't have love. He had huge palaces but he was terribly lonely. "Love! You don't love anybody! Me or anybody else! You want to be loved - that's all you want! I'm Charles Foster Kane. Whatever you want - just name it and it's yours! Only love me! Don't expect me to love you."
